Per direction from CFAES Administration, the CFAES Marketing and Communications web team has been working on consolidating our web environment within the college. This consolidation helps with maintenance, security, and embraces the one college, one brand initiative.  Currently, a number of websites affiliated with CFAES are hosted in Wooster on servers managed by OARDC. These servers are being phased out and new websites for active programs are being created within the CFAES web environment. Drupal 7 is the website content management system for CFAES. Our CFAES website and a variety of other college websites are now based in Drupal 7. We will provide training for your Drupal 7 website. This training is designed for content owners that need to learn the basics of Drupal 7 and have access to their CFAES website. This training includes how to create and edit pages, news items, events, people and more. Graduate students and student assistants are welcome to attend, as well as new hires, who will be responsible for editing content in a Drupal 7 website.

Below are the dates and locations we have scheduled for training for those people who manage OARDC websites that will be moving to the CFAES web environment. The trainings will take place in 200 Kottman Hall on the Columbus Campus and in 200 Research Services on the Wooster Campus. Class are from 9am to Noon. If you are interested in attending one of the training sessions, please email Bonnie Scranton at scranton.9@osu.edu and include the training session you would like to attend and the CFAES Drupal 7 site(s) you will be editing after training.
