Basic Template Website Training

Drupal is the website content management system for CFAES. Our CFAES websites and a variety of other college websites are now based in Drupal. This training is designed for content owners who currently have a Basic Template website and need to learn the basics of editing and content management.  This includes how to create and edit pages, news items, events, people and more.  It's a great refresher for those who have trained in the past and would like to review the system and have questions answered.  Graduate students and student assistants are welcome to attend, as well as new hires, who will be responsible for editing content on your website. Please note that this class is offered in Columbus and Wooster. Currently all classes are on ZOOM.

CFAES Department Websites

This training is designed for content owners who currently have a CFAES Department website and need to learn the basics of editing and content management and how the Department websites work.  This includes how to create and edit pages, news items, events, people and more.  It's a great refresher for those who have trained in the past and would like to review the system and have questions answered.  Graduate students and student assistants are welcome to attend, as well as new hires, who will be responsible for editing content on your website.

Extension County Website Training

Extension County Websites are now based on the Drupal Content Management System. They have a structure and use content types that are unique to these sites. This training is open to new Extension employees, those who will be taking over website responsibilities for their counties, or those who would like a refresher.  This training will cover the basics editing and content management, including how to create and edit pages, news items, events, people and the general guidelines for content placement.  It is required that anyone who will be editing or adding to websites attend a training session before they are granted access.

Google Analytics

Do you want to know more about visitors to your website and how your content is performing? Google Analytics is the industry standard for tracking, analyzing, and reporting site data. Knowing how to use Google Analytics correctly will help you measure site traffic and activity on your website.

Each month there is a training for Basic Template Sites, Extension County Sites, CFAES Department Websites and Google Analytics.
